Q&A Instructions
A glitch, after clicking on New Topic link below, you will the same Q&A and Difference blocks. Look below Diff block to see "Questions for Members and Yes/No persons" header and the "New Topic" button.
1. Copy-n-paste what your question is about from the Member's forum, someones Yes/No forum, or any Member Q&A Dialogue.
2. Then click this link: hit New Topic button and paste your copy in the New Topic box. Remember "new topic" box is below.
3. Put members nicl-(x) number, e.g. nicl-1 or Yes/No persons name in Subject rectangle followed by the subject of question. For a long question, add more at top of Topic box.
4. Remember, an "I agree" or a "this is my last response" ends your part in the dialogue, and the other person gets the last word.
Finally, read and reread the Q&A procedures. They are meant to treat both sides of a Dialogue impartially.
Difference in Forums
1. In the "open to all who register" Community Forums you do not have to answer questions, you can use an anonymous handle, start any topic, respond or not respond as you please.
2. In the Questions for Members forums you have to also register as a member and accept the Member agreements to answer questions from anyone about what you put in your Member Forum.
3.In Yes/No forums, you have to agree to answer questions from anyone about your specific Yes/No only.
4. To be notified of replies in Community Forums check "watch this topic" below topic entry box.
How full member Q&A forums treat both questioner and Member-Yes/No persons impartially.

Scientific discovery starts at the margin between what we know and can not yet explain, the vast unknown is where discoveries lie. To step across the line you seek an unanswered question. Mine was Coase's 'The Problem of Social Cost' Journal of Law & Economics, October 1960. I knew he was wrong and I could not explain why. It drove me wild.
I soon learned that our academics were not scientists and so I taught myself the craft. While I can give some pointers, in the end, discovery is done alone at the base theoretical level I have worked at.
Your job is to write an equation, using symbols that represent objective measured constants. e.g. e = mc^, that resolve your question.
As my wife can testify, I gnaw and repeat and wiggle things around. She says I say the same thing over and over, but I don't, I am changing something. Without my wife, I could not exist.
Sometimes you just let go and then the common denominator comes to you.
I try to sleep and dream a lot. Vitamin B-6 helps you remember dreams 50-100 mg.
Don't do anything you do not have to.
As Goedel showed, you are always leaving something out, so restating the data, asking new questions of it, etc suddenly reveals a new true statement.
Above all, you must make testable predictions so you can use the 'wrong' ones to improve your theory.
Accurate reporting of data is sacrosanct, discovering error is the path to the truth so the quicker the better.
As you get older, you find you look at yourself more and more. In my case, we invented the List so I could answer questions from anyone as a scientist should, and then I did not get a single question. Most fortunate, most painful, most exhilarating.
Now I realize, your questions would certainly have distracted me. The equation I wrote out today almost certainly would not have been written in time.
Your no questions eventually separated me from our society as it is now, so I could recognize why I got no questions. It took a long separation to realize what we are, a 3MS.
Add on later as I think of something.

I finally posted "Why BP well still has a growing leak!" article to BP and on Congress.org. It would be very nice to be wrong. The implication of the hypothesis that Mother Earth is using the blowout to cause a "oil fired nuclear winter' to kill off half the biomass in less than one year is that Mankind was evolved to drill the well. If true that makes us look pretty small in the overall scheme of things.
But should we actually succeed in stopping the leak, then the disconnection is our responsibility.
As a betting man, I am reminded of the old saying; "When its you against the world, bet on the world.".
Given Admiral Thad Allen and BP wake up and try to do the two nukes, I would bet that Mother Earth will arrange something to delay the explosions until it is too late.
Given the Gaia hypothesis is true, then a try at a 50%+ die off must be a common denominator, no wonder the E-Ts don't try to help, a high technology society like ours will become almost ungovernable except in very local situations.
Only a Three Monkey Society(3MS) would drill such a well. Well it does not matter whether or not Mother Earth evolved us to be the jerky society we now are, we still need to try to drop a ship down the wormhole no matter the outside circumstances.
I pray that I am wrong.
