N1CL Mechanics What Do We Expect From Paid Beta Members & Application Explanation

About Being a Beta Member Tester & Member Application. 1. The article that follows will explain what we want to acccomplish in Beta; and it will hopefully explain all the things a Beta Member should know about, including how you will be paid.

2. Each Beta Member will be added to BaseCamp(BC) a project management piece of software which is self explanatory after you use it a couple of times.

3. We will amply reward for bugs found and any suggestions used during Beta, that does include outsiders who wander through.

Our first four priorities are as follows:

First, to use the N1CL dialogue procedure to make sure that all the agreements, applications, and procedures are written clearly and precisely to reflect the stated purpose of the N1CL:

a. An open to all on an equal basis, public Question & Answer Internet Interface for exchanging any possible kind of information, that by procedural agreements;

b. Causes its users to identify their 'disagreements';

c. So we can hopefully resolve them.

Second, to actually test, refine, and 'bug remove' the software and operational procedures of our "Public Interface" for all.

Third, to identify the legal form of ownership the list will take on, when the inventors transfer ownership to N1CL members.

Fourth, to demonstrate in front of all How it works, by doing 'Beta' in public, on the record.

When you apply to become a N1CL beta member you will only during Beta, become an 'answer questions from all' member of the No 1st Cost List; BUT after Beta, the choice is yours to remain a full N1CL member. Remember, you will not have to answer questions about anything said by you during Beta. The Beta record will be closed to questions permanently after we are done. Our discussions could become heated and we want Beta to be truly candid.

Becoming a Beta tester does not obligate you to maintain an active membership after Beta, but you will always have your permanent N1CL public address, and be entitled to any rights and protections all inactive members receive.

For example, you will always be able to use your N1CL public address in an emergency whether your account is paid up or not. Only you can use it. Spammers be aware, we will prosecute your use of any N1CL members N1CL address without express permission from the member.

Another example, you will always be able to restart your 'answer questions from anyone' or any other form of active n1cl account, as long as you pay one months active member fee up front. Any previous monies owing will be treated as a separate transaction and we will work out payment arrangements. (We will never refer anyone's account to collection, sooner or later, we know when able, you will resume repayment unless dead.).

What do 'Beta Testers' Agree to:

First, that they will accept any changes in wording and structure of any of the agreements, applications, and procedures decided on during Beta, including the N1CL Member Application; Beta Member tester applications, or any other agreements, procedures, etc, deemed necessary by the inventors and owners.

Second, the inventors, Daniel Alter, or Margaret Milanowski can veto or include any changes. We both believe that this Alpha site and our 20 plus years of work to build this 'public place for all' show that we will not use this 'absolute power' unwisely. We both know that we have not thought of everything, and that your honest inputs and disagreements are devoutly desired and will be fully and thoughtfully considered. Any veto of a suggestion that a majority of Beta members vote for will be fully explained. Finally, we will include a way to change the N1CL's structures after ownership is transferred.

Third, that you agree to try and make this the best possible 'public Internet Interface for all' until the end of humankind's time alive on this planet.

Fourth, you will do at least four or more sessions per week using the N1CL Alpha/Beta Interface that last at least Two hours total per week; and that these sessions be used to actively discover how to make how the N1CL functions better. There will be up to 12 weeks of Beta. You can miss a week or up to two weeks as long as you make up the time in the subsequent weeks or bank time in previous weeks.

Fifth, you will ask up to twelve or more questions during Beta(1 per week) of me or any other Beta members and finish off the resulting dialogues. Again, you will not have to answer questions about what we say to one another during Beta after the N1CL goes operational. It is "practice" and we want to be able to be honest with each other.

Sixth, you agree to pay your 'monthly' billing and member application fee either with either cash or N1CL WOU units during each week of Beta. We will simulate a monthly billing cycle a week during Beta.

What are WOUs?; How do N1CL WOU units work?

Since we can not issue stock without putting the share holders interests ahead of the Members interest in protecting and maintaining the N1CL purposes in perpetuity, I was left with a problem: How do we raise capital? A lawyer told me as a sole proprietorship, you can borrow money from anybody on any terms both parties agree to. Ergo N1CL WOU units.

There are 100,000,000 N1CL WOU units. They will be repaid with 5% of N1CL stipulated gross revenues in perpetuity = forever. Stipulated gross revenues = $100 application fee and the $20 a month member fee plus other revenues to be decided upon in Beta. For sure, ad revenues will be. Denominated in whatever the nominal currency used to pay these fees in is. Should we increase the amount of membership fee or raise the monthly member fee, then the 5% will reflect this increase when collected. In short, the stipulated gross revenues are based upon whatever the member joining fee is, plus the monthly dues, ad revenues and (tobe decided), in whatever currency the member(s) pay with. There will be no special breaks for any members, we all pay the same, except for hardship exceptions.

When do we pay the 5% of defined gross revenues?

The 5% will be collected and paid on the 2nd Friday of the following month. A $1 minimum payment paid electronically for free to your n1cl account upon request. Payments to any other electronic account of your choosing are less any actual transaction charges for the transfer. The N1CL adds 10% to any actual transaction costs for its costs.

Amounts less than $1 will be accumulated in the members name and starting after the month collected will share proportionately in any interest earned by this "unpaid 5% account". No interest on amounts under $10. WOU owners may choose to accumulate there share of 5% in 'unpaid' account.

How will Beta work?

We are going to run 12 monthly billing cycles during Beta at One monthly cycle per week. We will stop the clock as during Space Shuttle launches when we have the inevitable glitches. You will be paid with N1CL WOU units. You will use these units or you can substitute actual $$ one for one, to pay for the $100 N1CL application fee and $20 a month, plus the costs for other functions created by the existence of the N1CL. e.g. Our 'paid votes' ($0.25 each) on voting proposals to resolve N1CL disagreements. The ?winning side and reasons? divides up the accumulated voting pool.

How Do We Select Beta Member/Testers?

After filling our member and Beta member applications and paying the $100 N1CL member application fee, the N1CL will choose from among the applicants by need.
(put needs list link here) All of the first 1000 applicants during Beta that pay there $100 application fee at time of application will be brought into Beta for at least one week. Only the first 200 selected will receive the 200 WOU units at selection, all others will receive the hourly and any bonuses and rewards earned.

What happens after you are selected:

Then you receive your 200 WOU units paid into your N1CL 'beta money' account, you will then pay 100 WOU units back to the N1CL for the N1CL application fee, and they in turn will be divided up between the 'earmarks' and paid out appropriately. In short we are going to mimic the 'real life' books 12 times once a week. Those who pay the $100 application fee in cash will NOT have to pay the N1CL application fee with WOU units.

[b]How will Beta Testers be paid?; How many Hours can they work a week?

You will receive 200 N1CL WOU units upon acceptance, and then 10 WOU units an hour for time spent working the Interface. You will be paid for up to 8 hours a week working on Beta. You could be paid up to 1160 IOU units less what you pay for Beta billing costs. In addition, you keep the N1CL WOU or $ units won for 'best reasons' on voting proposals, or submitting a winning 'voting proposal'. These amounts could be quite large.

It will be up to you whether or not you substitute cash for WOU units during Beta on a one for one basis. However, once we accept an WOU unit during Beta, it will cost you $5 per WOU unit to buy it back during Beta.

Can I buy Additional WOU units during Beta?

Yes, but there numbers will be limited. There will only be 500,000 WOU available during Beta for sale for $10 each US. The terms of all exchanges of WOUs will be registered with the N1CL with the name of the new owner(s), so the 5% can be sent properly. The price must be public, the names of the owners can be private. Each WOU will have a registration # from 1 to 100 million.

After Beta What Happens To My Membership.

You will start getting a monthly bill for $20 and use the list for whatever purposes you choose.

Author & Mechanics

My name is Daniel Alter. My wife and I invented the No 1st Cost List. We started working on this invention in 1985 the year we business licensed the N1CL in Seattle as the No First Cost List. In 1984, I had made the 'fundamental' scientific discovery, one per planet. It is the 'objective' causal premise we must use for a Grand Unification Theory(GUT). I intended to publish. By February 1991 I had deduced the existence of our(we life forms) conservation debt made of Anti-Matter. It followed directly from this premise. On February 10, 1992 I saw conclusive proof that ours was due soon. We have been working at warning you about our 'debt' so we can 'disconnect it' ever since. Stopping it required a working N1CL.

Objective = the parts of the universe we all can potentially observe in common; i.e. we each can see the evidence for ourselves, if necessary.

I am wholly responsible for the design of this website and will initially answer all questions regarding it. As Alpha progresses into Beta, this will change as Beta members start answering questions.
